Terms of Use

These terms govern use of Craven County Court Docket. By visiting the resource, reading its material, or using a search tool, a visitor accepts the conditions below. Anyone who does not accept them should discontinue use of the service.

NO FCRA USE. Craven County Court Docket is a private resource with no affiliation to a government office or court. It is not a consumer reporting agency, and no material from it or its advertised tools may be used for credit, employment, tenant screening, insurance, or another FCRA-regulated purpose.

1. What This Website Is

This is an independently operated reference resource. It does not run the Craven docket system, keep official court files, accept filings, or alter court settings. Its purpose is to identify official routes such as the Craven County Clerk of Superior Court, trial courts, calendars, and the North Carolina eCourts Portal.

2. Informational Use Only

Material is general information, not an official Case Summary, court order, clerk certification, or legal advice. Confirm any fact that matters with the Craven clerk or the court that maintains the relevant case. North Carolina court-record access is governed by applicable law, including the state’s public-record framework and court rules.

3. Rules for Using This Site

A visitor agrees not to:

  • Use the resource in violation of federal, North Carolina, or local law
  • Harass, threaten, stalk, or harm another person using material found here
  • Use information for hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions
  • Attempt unauthorized access to the service or its providers
  • Run automated collection, scraping, or disruption tools against the pages
  • Interfere with another person’s use of the service

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Neither the operators nor advertising partners provide consumer reports, background reports, or services intended for FCRA-regulated screening. A visitor may not use information from this resource to decide whether to hire, fire, house, insure, lend to, or otherwise evaluate another person where the Fair Credit Reporting Act applies. The footer notice is part of these terms.

5. No Legal Advice

No attorney-client relationship is formed by use of this resource. A court record route cannot answer how a filing, deadline, charge, order, or hearing affects a particular person. Consult a qualified attorney for legal advice.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

Courts may alter hours, fees, forms, and procedures. Case information can change as new filings, settings, continuances, orders, restrictions, or dispositions are entered. The operators do not promise that content, links, partner results, or contact details are complete or current. Verify a docket entry or court date with the official record custodian before relying on it.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links and widgets can lead to services run by courts, counties, vendors, or other outside organizations. Their content, availability, pricing, privacy policies, and terms are their own. Use of an outside service is at the visitor’s choice and risk.

8. Intellectual Property

The original text, design, logo, and code on Craven County Court Docket belong to the operators or their licensors. They may not be copied, redistributed, modified, or used to create derivative work without permission, except where law permits.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not responsible for loss or damage arising from use of this resource, its content, a search partner, or an outside link. That includes decisions made from information later found incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate.

10. Indemnification

A visitor agrees to defend and hold the operators harmless from claims, demands, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from that visitor’s misuse of the resource or breach of these terms.

11. Governing Law

North Carolina law governs these terms. Any dispute tied to use of the resource must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in North Carolina, subject to applicable law.

12. Changes to These Terms

The operators may update these terms. A revised version becomes effective when it is posted on this page.
